Terms and conditions for external users
1. The user can request only one account on the PARAM SMRITI
2. The private industry user has to deposit the security amount (two months estimated computation cost) in advance and the same will be refundable after deductions if any. No interest will be paid on the security amount. The security amount will depend on the computational requirements of the user in terms of cores, nodes and GPU cards requested.
3. The estimated monthly computations cost will have to be paid to NABI at the beginning of every month for all users wherever the charges are applicable.
4. Under no circumstances any part of the computational amount will be refunded.
5. For testing and debugging, users will be given 50 hours monthly for free. To claim free usage, users shall not request more than one node.
6. In the event of job failure due to node/system breakdown, the users will not be charged.
7. It is the user’s responsibility to keep their account secure.
8. The accounts with no activity within four months will be considered dormant and closed without prior notice. There will be no refund in this regard.
9. The accounts will be temporarily suspended upon reaching the exhaustion limit against the amount paid. The users must track their usage and pay in advance to keep their account active for job execution.
10. The responsibility of data safety also lies with the user only. They are advised to take data backup at regular intervals and remove it within five working days of their account closure otherwise the decision taken by the NABI is final and binding.

12. The users must adhere to NSM policies mentioned in the account request form(s) regarding the usage of the facility.
13. The resources limit of the PARAM SMRITI are as follows:
Maximum 10 simultaneous jobs (RUNNING and PENDING) will be allowed
Maximum walltime of 4 days
Users can submit jobs on maximum 8 nodes for 4 days, 16 nodes for 2 days, 32 nodes for 1 day
