NABI-CIAB jointly inaugurated their PhD programme with RCB on 05-09-2018
National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) and Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB) have been recognized by Regional Centre of Biotechnology (RCB), Fridabad as their Academic Regional Centres for providing PhD degrees in Biotechnology. Under this program, students of first batch for the session 2018-19 of PhDs have been admitted. This program is formally inaugurated by Prof. Akhilesh K Tyagi, Former Director NIPGR and Former President, The National Academy of Sciences, India on September 5, 2018. He addressed the staff and students of both the institutions and delivered a talk on “Expanding horizons in rice genomics”.
