NABI celebrates 9th Foundation Day

National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) celebrated its 9th Foundation Day on 18th February, 2019. A distinguished gathering of more than 200 individuals including heads of the institutes, faculty and students from the Tricity region attended the function. Dr. T.R Sharma, Executive Director, NABI highlighted the progress made by NABI during last one year.
Padma Bhushan, Dr. (Mrs.) Manju Sharma, Former Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi was the Chief Guest and Padma Shri Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sopory, Former vice chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi was the Guest of Honour. He delivered a talk on “Plant Abiotic Stress: Future Trends & Application in Agriculture” on the occasion.
