Dr. Abhilasha Sharma, Research Associate of Dr. Shivraj Nile has been awarded the Best Poster Award in ICGST-2025, NIPER, Mohali.

Dr. Abhilasha Sharma has been awarded the Best Poster Award in the International Conference on Green Science and Technology (ICGST-2025), organized by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali. Dr. Sharma presented her research work titled “A Flavonoid-based Strategy for Safer Chemotherapy: Kaempferol Enables Low-Dose 5-FU Efficacy in Colorectal Cancer (CRC)”, which focuses on developing safer and more effective therapeutic approaches by integrating natural flavonoids with conventional chemotherapy. Her findings highlight the potential of kaempferol to enhance 5-FU efficacy while significantly reducing systemic toxicity. She is currently working under the mentorship of Dr. Shivraj Nile, Division of Food & Nutritional Biotechnology, NABI.
