Dr. Mahendra Bishnoi, Scientist-E, Food and Nutritional Biotechnology division has featured in the world ranking of top 2% scientists in India in 2019. The analysis, conducted by a team of scientists at Stanford University, USA includes research publications, citations, citation/papers, collaborations among other parameters. Dr. Bishnoi is working to understand the health promotive potential of food and diet against obesity and related complications such as insulin resistance with emphasis on sensory receptors (TRP ion channel receptors).
