Inauguration of Biotech club at NABI on 05-09-2018
With an objective to promote knowledge sharing & extra-curricular activities among students, a ‘Biotech Club’ was inaugurated at NABI on 05-09-2018. Prof. Akhilesh K. Tyagi, Former President, The National Academy of Sciences, India; Department of Plant Molecular Biology, University of Delhi was invited as the Chief Guest on this occasion. He formally inaugurated the Biotech Club at the institute. Later, he also delivered a special lecture entitled “Expanding horizons in rice genomics” under ‘Diksha – lecture series’ (an initiative by Biotech Club to invite Eminent Scientists from India and abroad to deliver lecture at NABI).
